My goal is to use my skills to create designs that spark conversations. I am passionate about using my projects as a portal to uplift others with curiosity, empathy, and creativity. Seeing creative people excel and receive the recognition they deserve brings me joy. I care deeply about honesty, accountability, and excellence.
Growing up, I wrote stories featuring memorable characters accompanied by drawings. I designed my first magazine spread on the family computer. As a teenager, I discovered my passion for visual and written communications. The following year, I published my first article in the artist-founded Lotusland Magazine.
I studied Communication at Capilano University, where I learned the importance of interpersonal communication, a principle that remains important to me today. During my undergraduate studies, I became heavily involved in the local music scene and began writing album reviews.
Since graduating in 2020, I have worked in marketing within the non-profit sector, gaining hands-on experience in content development, social media management, copywriting, editing, graphic design, print, and event promotion. I have developed a detail-oriented approach to project management, often juggling multiple projects and consistently meeting tight deadlines.
I enjoy conversing with people and have conducted over fifty interviews with various individuals, including activists, a financial expert, and a politician.
Two years after completing my undergraduate degree, I returned to school to study Graphic and Web Design where I learned how to be a more effective visual communicator.
I am thrilled to continue my career journey working at a non-profit where I manage the marketing department. In my role, I design content that promotes gallery exhibitions and community-oriented events. I am also open to taking on new projects.
